| The weight of the tub filled with water is approximately 10 pounds per gallon.The Softub 140 weighs about 1500lbs. when full, the Softub 220 weighs about 2000lbs. and the Softub 300 weighs about 3200 lbs.

| What are some Water Treatment Options? |

Aside from the conventional water treatment systems that have been around for many years there are a couple of new ones available that are more natural and allow you to keep you water clean, clear & fresh using considerable less sanitizer.
The Natural Hot Tub Company product line uses a natural seaweed enzyme which actually breaks down the molecules of dirt, grime and algae and allows them to collect on your filter. The advantages of this system are that you use very little sanitzer and you come of your hot tub without the chlorine or bromine smell with your skin feeling soft and smooth. Nature2 spa clarifier is a water treatment system that helps eliminate chemical odours, removes organics, irritants and metal and makes spa water softer and more comfortable. This product must be used in conjunction with Health Canada approved spa sanitizers. The cartridge simply inserts into your hot tub filter. A non-chlorine shock is used to continually activate the cartridge. The Nature2 cartridge lasts 4 months at which time you change the cartridge along with your water.
